Evaporated or evaporated milk is made from boiled, homogenized milk, the water content is reduced by approx. 60%. The milk has no added sugar.

Evaporated milk is used in the preparation of Huancaina Sauce, chicken in yellow chili sauce, and the vast majority of other Peruvian dishes that contain milk. It is also widely used in desserts such as dulce de leche, tres leches cake, and many other delicacies.
