At Taste of Peru we always want to give you a good experience. When you use our website and our other channels, we collect and process your personal data with due regard to protecting and respecting your privacy. According to applicable legislation on the protection of personal data, you have the right to be informed about the processing of personal data.
What is personal data
Personal data is any information that can be related to an identified person, or data that can directly or indirectly identify a person.
Collection and use of personal data
When you use our services, we need certain personal data to be able to complete purchases, deliver your goods and to be able to get in touch with you. We also need certain personal data if we are to provide you with customized communication and marketing.
We collect and process personal data about you when you:
• Use our website.
• Sign up and interact with personalized marketing messages (email).
• Send an inquiry, make a complaint or give us feedback.
• Participate in campaigns, competitions or surveys.
When you use our webshop at tasteofperu.dk, we collect the personal information that is necessary (username, address, telephone number, e-mail and any comments you provide on your order). The information is necessary to be able to deliver the order and to be able to process inquiries regarding your purchase, e.g. in the event of complaints.
When you use Taste of Peru's website, we collect information about your behavior on the website. We use this information for statistical analysis and improvement of the websites and our services. We use Google Analytics, among other things, to record how our customers use our website.
Newsletters and marketing
If you sign up for personal marketing messages, e.g. by e-mail, we collect the information (e.g. e-mail address) that you may provide when registering and/or updating your profile. In all mailings, you will always have the opportunity to adjust your choice and unsubscribe from future receipts of the specific service. At the bottom of all newsletters, for example, you will find a field where you can unsubscribe from the specific newsletter at any time.
3rd parties
We treat your personal information with care and respect and do not disclose it to third parties except in the following specific cases:
• You have given your express consent to the disclosure.
• You have given your express consent to receive newsletters sent through the Mailchimp service. Here, your information is stored with Mailchimp, which is located in a 3rd country (USA). Dansk Cater has made a data processing agreement with Mailchimp.
• The disclosure takes place within the Dansk Cater group for the purposes described in this privacy policy.
• The disclosure takes place to trusted companies or persons who process personal data for us based on our instructions and in accordance with our privacy policy and other applicable measures for confidentiality and security. These companies or individuals are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
• When we are required to disclose information in connection with a subpoena, court order or other applicable statutory or legal process.
• When we believe in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to prevent or respond to fraud, defend our apps or websites against attacks, or protect the property and safety of our company, customers and users, or the safety of the public, or similar.
It is important to emphasize that we do not disclose personal data about you to third parties for their marketing purposes unless you have expressly consented to the disclosure of the information for such purposes.
Storage and deletion of personal data
Personal data related to purchases is stored for 5 years after the purchase has been completed in order to comply with the obligations in the Danish Accounting Act and to resolve any complaints or warranty cases.
Personal data used to send personalized marketing messages is stored for as long as the agreement exists and is deleted immediately thereafter. You can unsubscribe from these services at any time, after which the information will be deleted.

Changes to the personal data policy
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy so that we comply with applicable legislation at any time. In the event of changes, you will be notified in accordance with applicable legislation.
